The Well is a mixed-use endeavor in Canada, located in the heart of Toronto's west end, catering to approximately 10,000 people on a daily basis who live and work at The Well.

Project Overview
This project aimed to create an immersive on-site interactive experience for The Well, streamlining the sales process with real-time updates on real estate availability while minimising traditional pitches. It was designed to be versatile across iPads, Media Walls, 4K Video Walls, and Scale Models with integrated Lighting Systems, catering to agents for sales presentations and potential buyers for visualising the development and learning about the neighbourhoods lifestyle and features.
Discovery Research
I focused on identifying business objectives and user requirements, assessing technical feasibility, studying interaction patterns for large-scale screens, and defining core components and information architecture.
Integration & Testing
To ensure a smooth opening day, we conducted on-site testing to confirm that our applications functioned correctly. This included ensuring that selecting a unit via iPad filters accurately lit up its location on the scale model for buyers to see. We also tested touchscreen navigation for seamless transitions between floorplans, galleries, and ensured stakeholders understood how to update content through the CMS.
Interface Design
Designing a cohesive interface across multiple applications involved maintaining consistency and reflecting the brand’s visual style and tone of voice. Collaboration with engineers was crucial to implement smooth transitions and micro-interactions. This included toggling between day and night modes and navigating between various buildings, amenities, and retail spaces, enhancing customer immersion in the experience.
Outcome
Both interactive experience has achieved remarkable success. The apps have transformed the presentation centre into an immersive experience, recognised by experienced sales agents as game changers. These achievements were further highlighted by winning prestigious awards, including the Muse Creative Awards' Platinum for Experimental and Immersive App, the VEGA Digital Awards' Platinum for Mobile Apps/Sites, and the DotComm Awards' Platinum for Best Application.
